The food is good. Breakfast or lunch. The drinks are great. You can have a cold or hot drink made by staff or make your own. They also have dessert. Love the cupcakes and cookies. They give a free cookie to children who have a clinic visit. Snickerdoodle is a favorite. The staff are pleasant and service is fast. Booths or bar to sit and eat. Nice place for a quick meal or to meet with a friend when you're in the area. I always stop when I visit the hospital.

They are the only coffee shop in the vicinity that offers flavored drip coffee instead of sweet flavored syrups. They trypically have 6 drip coffees and many, many options for lattes, espresso, etc. Their coffee is roasted across the street at Java Daves. My favorite coffee is their Snickerdelicious, which tastes like a snickerdoodle cookie! They also have a delicious tropical iced tea.
Kamp's is a good place to go. One of my main reasons I like this place is their ample parking (certainly won't find that at any other coffee/food place near downtown) and table space. There is plenty of room to spread out, so this is a great place to go for a meeting or a long coffee chat with a friend.
Awful breakfast. Got the sunrise sandwich, turkey,Gouda,egg, tomato and sliced avocado on ciabatta bread. Egg was not seasoned, avocado was a brown scoop, and bread was hard and cold. Very disappointed!
Another reason I like to go to Kamps instead of other coffee shops nearby is because they have real food! All the other places closeby only serve sweets like pastries or cupcakes. Kamps offers breakfast opions like biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches on ciabatta, or scrambles. For lunch, they offer a variety of salads and sandwiches. Of course, they still have lots of sweet goodies, like cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and sweet rolls. The food isn't the most exciting, but is good. I haven't ever had anything bad there. Many of it feels assembled instead of cooked, but it is decent. I don't go there to intentionally, I go for coffee or to nibble on something while I meet someone.
All in all, there isn't anything not to like about this place. They have lots of space to spread out and don't mind you doing so, plus easy on/off access to I-235. I am thankful to have Kamps near by. Oh, and use your Keep It Local card for 10% off food and drinks.
