Beautiful. Full of history. Peaceful and quiet.

Fun to see so much history in names, Fairlawn the first Cemetary in Oklahoma City. There are at least 18 masoleums, many with stained glass windows. Some windows remarkable, one rumored to be a Tiffany.

This is a nice afternoon for any age person, probably more fun for people who like old things, know burial traditions or could recognize names.

Not really any places to picnic directly, like a gazebo or benches. But plenty of space to easily wander in and see the progressive history of OKC. This is a public cemetary, though neighbhors to First Presbyterian Church, and buries all denominations. The gravediggers cottage is still there, but not open for tours. The foundation has a building in the middle, regarding management of the property.

This property isn't build out like some similar age cemetaries. It is clean, with a paved road and piles of adventures awaiting the curious.
