My daughter called previous to her procedure to ask specifically how much it would cost to have it done. Knowing what kind of insurance she had (because she had been there before) they quoted her a price. She confirmed that that would be all she owed and they confirmed with a "Yes". Three weeks later we get a bill for an additional 260.00. I believe they should have told her if insurance didn't pay the full amount she may owe more. She is not the policy holder and would have no way of knowing that. Bad decision on our part to go through with the procedure. Bad business on their part not accepting what insurance paid, since that is what they told her. It's not always about money, it's about keeping your word, they said they would not write off what insurance did not pay.
