My 17 year old son HATED the dentist office, however, once he visited the dental school he no longer has negative feelings towards the dentist. The care was exceptional and he felt better because they took time to explain everything step by step. For myself, the treatment has been wonderful. The money saved is a bonus.
I am taking my special needs son to this clinic and we have had nothing but excellent care. The students are very thorough and their instructors are always available and friendly to everyone.
Terrible experience the staff is okay but the Dentist (Dr. Black) was absolutely the rudest person I have ever meet. First of all he asked a lot of personal questions that had nothing to do with the procedure. Came in for an extraction doctor brought tears to my eyes trying to numb it. Afterwards he said that the pain was caused by the tooth and that there was no infection so antibiotics are pain medication needed.. Unfortunately this was not the case and I woke up with my face swelling and in worse pain than before I had the tooth removed. Had to pay another dentist to examine me to subscribe antibiotics and medication. Tried to contact the office about this but was blown off as if I was just a drug addict seeking drugs. Take it from me if you don't have insurance sure they are one of the cheapest for a extraction but not by much. Spend the extra 30-40 dollars to go to a real dentist the first time. I know I wish I had.
I have recommended this clinic to others.
Horrible experience! They want to charge you everything they can and then tell you your teeth are to much work for a student? A root canal? Really? The guy that did my exam didn't even know how to do an x ray!!! DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY
I had a pretty terrible experience here. The nurse was VERY kind and attentive but the doctor who saw me was incredibly insensitive and had a bad bed side manner. He came in, didn't introduce himself, immediately started pulling and poking my mouth roughly (after telling him it was very painful) and when I asked what it looked like and plan of action I was told, "Well it has to come out doesn't it..I've seen worse." Needless to say I left in tears. Will not be returning.
