Floor cleaner was in his shop for 4 months and they didnt fix it. Factory took care warranty work afterwards. This guy is a joke and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on the five o'clock news someday.
I will never go to this store again for anything. Ever.
I bought their new Magnesium vacuum as they promised it would work on my new very thick, tall shag carpet without any problem. I got it home and you cannot push it through the carpet at all so I took it back to the store. The 'new' manager accused my 78 year old mother of stealing it first, as she is the one that picked it up and tried to take it back, because she forgot to take a receipt with her. So she came and got me to help her and I told the man we did not get a receipt as such, just a little white cash register slip, so I didn't think anything of it. He told me to come back the next day when the manager would be there. So, I drove all the way back over to the store the next day, with the little white piece of paper, and there was only an older man there that said he just worked on the vacuums and that the man the day before was the manager. Imagine my rage at this time as I am disabled and it is very hard and painful to get out. The man gave me the corporate number to call to get something done about it, and I have waited over 6 weeks now and still no call back. I am ready to call the Attorney General as well as a lawyer to get my $500 back. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! I have used Orecks for years and loved them, but never again. I ended up having to buy a Kirby to get through the carpet and it works like a charm. I don't know how this new manager got this job, or how he ever keeps a job treating people like he did us.
Long story short, I get my(?) vacuum back and the motor is loud and sounds sickly, the wheels/belt squeal, the handle is loose and it looks way more worn than when I brought it in. I'm convinced this is another used vacuum and not mine.
Sold me a oreck bag less vacuum. Charged me to service it but, first service was suppose to be free. Get vacuum back and it was really loud and performed worse after servicing. Took it back and was told they no longer serviced the bag less model. Great customer service...
I only left one star as 0 isn't an option. They had my vacuum for 6 weeks for repair (bottom stuck in the up position) and every time I'd call, I'd get the run around, anything from 'We're waiting on parts' to 'The technician will be here tomorrow and yours will be first on the list!" back to 'We're waiting on parts and can't help how long that takes.'
Buy a shark vacuum, cheaper than the amount they charged for their horrible service job.
