Verbally abusive toward bystanders. Once we told them we were recording they acted differently. Anyone know a lawyer who will take on the corrupt police department?

The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is here to protect and serve. Obviously due to the nature of the job that means there will be some people less than thrilled with the operation of the facility, so low ratings in Google reviews are to be expected. By and large this is a very professionally run institution of law enforcement.
I have had some bad experiences but I have also had some good experiences. Everyone has a bad day, some people are just rude but there are some officers who are kind, compassionate and honest. The visiting system sucks, the charges to make a phone call, are just put money on a loved ones books, or for intake medical fees are ludicrous. That those in authority are able to make up rules seems unfair especially when all of these things make family members appear to be getting punished. Conditions I hear are really deplorable... the old system needs to be tossed. And, just because a person has no record does not mean that they have integrity and would make for being good, responsible jailers. This system needs changing & much prayer...Oh!!! and the chaplain services needs to be audited ... they seem to be getting paid for just occupying office space....
With the State of Oklahoma's finances in the shape that their in, how in the hell can you have such a crooked Sheriff who kept 3 million dollars of "missing assets" hid in the books? Criminal charges better be in the works. Let the former sheriff sit for a while in that monstrosity that he built.
