I've eaten at Canton since it opened in the 70 great family owned restaurant always clean and friendly service. You won't find better egg roll anywhere in OKC. Always way more that one person can eat served family style. If your looking for cold Chinese food buffet this isn't the place. This food is cooked to order in a clean family owned business. I eat here everytime I'm in OKC.
The food is good and inexpensive. Thge waitresses are excellent. My only complaint is the owner. He will see people needing to be seated and make them wait because "that is a waitress job." This occurs even when the restaurant is packed and the waitresses are busy. He does no work other than the register.
I started with egg drop soup and chicken curry. Amazing and delicious.
Good food, great service, and the price was just right
The only drawback for me on the visits I've been to Canton is that the service is lacking whether it be them touching the picture to the T glass or going outside to give their boyfriend cigarette money as she earned tips it just never has impressed me with the service. There is turnover among the servers but they never seem to get any better. almost great Chinese food in Okc. Egg Drop. soup could be hotter sometimes. The Hawaii Guy was good but really liked the Sesame Chicken most. I'm sure they must have many exceptional dishes Sweet & Sour Shrimp batter was a little undercooked for me. I'll try something else .
Home made Chinese food in the Cantonese (southern) style. William, on of the owners, advised me the northern style (where it's colder and mountains) is usually spicier.
