Judaism is alive and well in Oklahoma City.
The Shabbat service was very well done with progressive music and quite a large crowd. The oneg afterward was well attended and I was introduced to the Rabbi and many of the congregants.
The facility is spectacular. The Ester Greenberg chaple and the Santuary are gorgeous!
My first visit to this Temple says it all: I was greated as soon as I came in the door and many people introduced themselves. A very warm and friendly atmosphere.
As is said about artists, before leaders of Temple B'nai Israel in OKC "go to work," they "dip the brush" into their souls. It is an incredibly friendly, caring, wonderful congregation.
