This was my experience, but other people there were seemed to be having fun.

What kind of bar is closed on Thursdays and then charges a 10 dollar cover on Friday. The music wasnt bad but wasnt great. Bartenders were awesome though, Very friendly.

They didn’t know many songs and I didn’t think they were just a great set of entertainers. Definitely seen much better. Paid $50 to reserve table for a birthday party on Friday night. When we got there we also had a $10 cover even though we reserved a table. Once we got in we were 10 of the maybe 20 in the place. When we left 3 hours later there was maybe 40 people total. In my opinion it was more for people 40-50+ than the younger ground in their 20s and 30s. Just my opinion though.

Not the atmosphere we were looking for, although it was very high energy. That part was spot on. The food was not good at all, better food is found at 7-11. Our server, Brooke was great. The bathrooms were very clean.

Our first time to Malarkey's was a fun time for sure. The two piano players were absolutely great. They played all the requests and played their own songs too. This should be a five star with no doubt, but let's remember...its a piano bar! About an hour or so after the pianos started playing a drummer showed up. Never met the guy, but his drumming was two things...very loud and fast. I'm not bashing the guy, per sé, but we came to hear pianos, not drums. Most of the time he was playing so loud you literally could not hear either of the pianos, much less their singing. The drummer has no concept of dynamics when it comes to music. In this setting, less is more. We'll definitely go back, but if the drummer shows up we're scramming...

I only gave them stars because of the waitress, everything else was crappy. There's ONLY bar food. They didn't know any of the songs we requested. The older guy thought he was funny speaking through the songs he did. Then he was very political. With all the ugly going on in this world, you don't wanna pay a cover for songs you don't know or care about, be only fed bar food and their politics. ended up. It was a date night for us in more than a month and we spent maybe an hour there, left and went somewhere else.
