Authentic historical watering hole with awesome people, fantastic drinks, live music, with a Hole-in-the-wall vibe and unbeatable prices. This is the first place I take out of towners who are visiting.
Former gay bar ... great crowd. Can always find someone to talk to. I would say it's maybe a bisexual bar now. Make nice strong mixed drinks. Place to go if you are trying yo get drunk!!
Fun and freaky environment. Definitely a different than the mainstream crowd but instantly you feel apart of the party. A flash of 1980's glam rock with a dab of British punk pub. Good fun, damn good drinks and I thoroughly expect to see Joan Jett wandering around in VIP someday.
Tha HiLo is always a good place to get a nice strong drink for a good price. The jukebox always has good music, and the room is almost always filled with great interesting folks. It is a super little spot with a whole lot of memories. I sure hope it will be around for many more years to come.
