Been going to Chelinos on 16th for years. It seems the food quality has dimished in the last year or so. I go to the one on South Western or NW Expressway more these days.
Tried to call in an order at 6:52. Got put on hold but really only set the phone down and I could hear what was going on. Apparently the cashier is the order taker because I could hear him check out customers, take a walk in to go order, and seat other customers, and pretty soon all I could hear was background noise. Hung up after 11 min 20 sec. Have not really cared for this particular location but they closed down my favorite one at 23 & Rockwell.
Same great food as the other Chelino's. Mexican food comes out fast and hot. At this location, they do not sell margaritas, only beer.
I would not recommend this location at all! The food wasn't that good. They charge you for chips and salsa!
