You receive three large wing portions and a large waffle that covers the plate!

The best chicken and waffles! The chicken was fresh and well seasoned, the waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!

Went here last year, the picture do not look like the eatery I saw. The chicken was old and the sweet potatoes were not very tasty. I was so disappointed after paying for my food and sitting down to eat. I hope anyone has a better experience than I had.

Drove from Fort Worth TX to eat at MaMa E's and will definitely do it again!

Best food! I was on vacation.. But I would drive the 11 hours to eat there again.... Comfy and home feeling. The staff was super friendly. I got so much food for the price!! Highly recommend

My husband saw this restaurant featured on the food network channel so we traveled from TX to see if the rumor was true...it was.

We settled for the famous "chicken and waffles", which was season good and was piping hot. For our sides we choose the shell mac n cheese, yams, mashed potatoes with gravy and greens. The sides were very filling and the portions were more than enough. To wash it all down we had their lemonade. We were too full for dessert, so we grabbed it to go (2 servings of banana pudding). Between the two of us we spent approximately $37. Mama E's did not disappoint and I would recommend if you are passing through town to make it pit stop.

The sides are small but tasty and well seasoned. Honestly I had a hard time finishing them so I guess they are the perfect size!

Upon pulling up to the establishment it looked like a little hole in the wall, nothing special on the eye. On the inside, they had plenty of food behind a hot bar ready to serve but we chose to have our main course cooked to order.

The food was good. Some things were better than others and they certainly do not stress about the appearance of the plates. I had the catfish and between my wife and two kids, we pretty well tasted a little of everything on the menu. The chicken and waffles are awesome, the collard greens are not. The catfish was decent, but the batter was a little thick for my taste. It was also a little warm in the dinning room. We were all sweating as we left. All in all, I would go back just for the chicken and waffles, just maybe on a cooler day.
