This is a great place that I go to at least once a week. The employees are fairly nice except once we receive our food, we can barely get waited on. They have literally brought us our ticket in the same time as setting our food on the table but the menu has a good variety of food including breakfast, lunch & dinner. I’ve come in before and ordered the salmon and it was amazing. I came in today and ordered the salmon once again. The outer appearance of the salmon looked cooked but I started to eat it and half way through, it just started to get softer and more wet. It was undercooked. Even the flavor started to change and if you’re a fish lover like me, you know the difference between a good, fresh piece of fish compared to a rotten or undercooked piece. I waited for about 10 minutes while watching my waitress help everyone but me. She still never came up to me and so I had to wave to the manager from across the room in order to get some service. I was cordial while explaining what was wrong and the manager didn’t insist on taking care of it or removing it from our ticket. We got up and proceeded to the register where I had to literally ask if they were going to do anything about it? The guy at the register took $5 off our ticket. My food included a roll that I didn’t touch and a veggie and baked potato that I took two bites out of. I am furious with this place and it’s people because I loved coming here. The food overal was amazing but it’s not worth getting treated the way we were treated today.
amazing food. It makes me feel like I'm eating at my auntie's house. Taste is like homemade and the staff is super fun and make you very comfortable. Reasonable price. Definitely two thumbs up.
I went for the first time for lunch hoping to find another good diner. Just wasn't so. I wanted to write a positive review, just couldn't. The staff was kind and nice, but the food wasnt up to par. Maybe it was what I ordered, but my hamburger steak was awful. The worst I have every had. The hamburger was a frozen, preformed patty used for grilling. It was served to me just cooked plain. No seasoning, mushrooms, onions, nothing but a plain rare meat patty. The kicker was I asked for brown gravy, "which is normally served with this dish" was absent. I was charged an additional dollar for a small dish of gravy. SAD. And, top it off, it was priced MORE than comparable diners with excellent hamburger steak. I had hoped for so much more. I may try the breakfast, but not sure now.
