PLEASE save your $60 and go somewhere else. Pick ANY other hibachi place in Edmond or OKC over this place. No atmosphere, bland food, and service was only so-so.
The waitress was mediocre . If you have high cholesterol that is not the place for you. The rice really didn't have flavor. The chef was great other than the butter.
Horrible. Food was terrible. Not seasoned up at all. Just plain steak and plain shrimp no soy sauce or anything. The RICE IS HORRIBLE! This is not a hibachi place. The rice was chicken rice. No soy sauce or teriyaki sauce at all. This was the worst experience ever. Less than 1 star. I will never come back.
Our first and last experience to Shoguns. I know it's been around for a very long time and we're new to the area so we wanted to try it. We've had hibachi numerous times at several different locations. This, by far, was the worst place we've ever been to. We actually waited for the chef to finish, asked for boxes, and left as soon as we could. First, no sushi. What Japanese place has no sushi? Second, no Japanese style cream sauce with your meal, just some kind of overpowering ginger sauce and a mustard sauce. Third, the rice it's made with some kind of seed, l assume sesame seeds. Crunchy rice with NO flavor whatsoever!! Forth, shrimp was good. Fifth, veggies consisted of onions, zucchini, mushrooms (and A LOT of them), and bean sprouts, that's it. Sixth, we both had the steak and we could have gotten a better steak at Applebees. It was awful!
Great food and atmosphere, but this place has been here forever and it is starting to show, needs a little tlc
This was my first time coming here and I loved it! It was entertaining seeing them cook it in front of me and friends! If you're looking for a good Japanese restaurant to eat at then this is for you.
