I've been back at least once a week since December. (It is now April).
The pastor is delicious. Haven't had any that compared since I lived in Arizona 6 years ago. Tried a burrito in almost every state since then.
Another reviewer mentioned that they did not like how the burrito was wrapped. I loved it. You have to eat some of the (amazing!) contents until the burrito can be wrapped for eating with your hands.
This place isn't fancy, but it's got really good Mexican food.
About to go visit again.
consistently wonderful food, Ive tried most of the menu over the past year. Breakfast burrito is everything you could want!! Perfection!! One of the best values for your food dollars in OKC, prices very reasonable.
I stopped by after working a double of moving boxes. Just craving meat! I had my heart set on a huge pastor burrito. I was not disappointed.
Our family loves Mexican food and has visited dozens of such restaurants around the country. We stopped here for lunch since it was rated a 4.5 at the time on Google (and since Nic's had a line out the door). This was actually the worst (in our opinion) Mexican restaurant we had ever visited. Here are the things we disliked:
Always clean. Always polite. Always delicious. Always affordable.
First, you place your order at the counter and seat yourself. Second, no fountain drinks are available and if you want more to drink, you wait in line again to pay for it (unless you're drinking water, where you might be able to get their attention off to the side of where you ordered). Third, we had 10 people and had a large order, which got confused by the woman who brought out our food. Several items were wrapped in paper and although we told her what each person ordered, 2 items got confused, one of which was 75% eaten before discovering the mistake. Fourth, several of the items ordered came with what looked like potato cubes mixed in with the meat like a filler. Fifth, there was nothing complimentary served like chips & salsa. Sixth, of the variety of items we ordered, none were great. The meat seemed dry.
Truly some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The Chile Verde is incredible, totally recommend it.
Based on the high ratings from others, I'm sure there are some good items to order here but we didn't get any. It was so different from what we've experienced at other Mexican restaurants that we just didn't care for anything about the experience.
