I've never given a negative review before, but after the non communication and mistakes made at this business, I feel it is necessary. My disabled son's funeral was held at Buchanan's Funeral Services and I was repeatedly assured Social Security had been contacted and advised of his death. They were not. Now we are in a huge non-compliance issue with Social Security Disability. In addition, I repeatedly requested paperwork be sent to me regarding urgently needed documents. Here we are almost 2 months later, and they have yet to contact me, return my calls and emails, or send me the paperwork requested. I do not recommend Buchanan's Funeral Services.

I have gone to this place before for another wake of a family member and they did an excellent job. The staff is very welcoming, respectful and helpful. You can tell by the details that they put into the wake of your loved one that they take great pride in their work. The inside of the place is beautiful and they are able to accommodate a large number of people which was very important for our family. The ability to have a slideshow at the wake was wonderful because we were able to share photos of my grandmother that we had not seen before which was a pleasant surprise. They make every effort to make this difficult time in your life less heartbreaking and it definitely didn't go unnoticed by our family.
