Always enjoy my visit to this Ace location. Have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The store is usually in order and quite organized.
I went here because it is so much closer than Lowe's even if Ace is higher in price. What turned me off was the overly aggressive security that stayed right on top of me while shopping so I quickly grabbed what I needed and instead of shopping around for other things I went to checkout. The cashier had to be told three times NO I don't want a rewards card..her reply was "C'mon I quit what I was doing to check you out" (her nails)..I took my twenty dollar bill and said "no thanks, I will go to Lowe's" I doubt I will return

After a bad experience at another location, the manager at went above and beyond to find the patio chairs we wanted. He didn't have them in stock, but found them at another store, picked them up and assembled them.
I've been a loyal customer to this Ace for years. I'm there at least a couple times a week. The customer service has always been a little iffy. Today I had an employee, who I've unfortunately had to deal with in the past, lip off to me again. I don't care how much time I have to waste driving across town to lowes, I am never stepping foot in this place again. Its unfortunate, as this was my third trip to ace just today, and the older guy who helped me in the morning was great.
