Thanks to everyone from the nurses to the administration at Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation Hospital, you guys are the best.
All this place cares about is the money. They are very unorganized and unprofessional. They don't care if you get the rehab you need, all they care about is getting people in and out. Dr. Self is very unethical, she does not provide very good care, nor does care about the patients. Avoid this place, find another rehab!
If I could give them zero stars I would. What is the point of having a specialized stroke recovery program if you wont accept a stroke patient because he hasn't recovered his mobility only 21 days after his stroke? Am I wrong in thinking that it is YOUR job to help stroke survivors with their mobility?!

FIVE STAR REHAB. FACILITY. Joe Bitsko my Physical Therapist took me from being unable to stand on my own two feet, to being able to walk in two weeks. Joe is a remarkable man, I will never be able to repay him for what he did for me.
Bobbi my OT helped me go from being unable to care for my daily needs to being able to be self sufficient and independent. She is truly a gifted occupational therapist.
