Highly recommend this hospital! My husband went to the emergency room a couple of weeks ago and we were seen and treated immediately and the staff was very caring and compassionate and were very professional. It was a great experience. I wish that we could remember the names of the nurses and doctors, but they were great! They explained everything every step of the way and answered our questions and reassured us every step of the way.
The next time I darken the emergency room door of this hospitaI it will be by main force.
We both have used the surgery center and the wonderful nurses and staff in this department are amazing! They are very kind, caring, professional and make a stressful situation so much easier! Some of the wonderful nurses that have treated us were Maggie, Tonya (not sure if I spelled her name correctly), Iris, Brittany, and so many others, (I am horrible at names!) On our last visit the nurses remembered us from my husband's visit and they treated us like family. That means so much and they were so fun and helpful. We were very pleased. We were kept informed of the process every step of the way. They explained what they were doing and answered any questions that we had. They are very proficient in the treatments such as starting the IV, vitals, and others, and after the surgery they made sure that the pain was controlled. They made us laugh and feel so comfortable during our stay. It is hard to find that kind of caring and compassion today when so many are in too big of hurry or too busy to talk and listen to you. We felt very cared for and special by each person we encountered from the registration to the recovery and everywhere in between. If we need any future surgery or God forbid need to visit an emergency room we will be back!
First, I would like to thank the nursing staff and any support staff. They were kind and did wonderful work. My problem was with an emergency room doctor. I came into the emergency room with a high fever, which in dialysis patients can be dangerous, and requested that my nephrologist be called. The emergency room doctor ignored my request. He conjectured that I had tiny pockets of infection in my fistula. Anyone who has been on dialysis for any length of time knows that an infected fistula would spread the infection throughout that person's blood stream. He admitted me and refused me my medication, the essential ones that dialysis patients must have. He also refused my psychiatric medications that control bipolar disorder. What he did give me was one single acetaminophen. A case worker checked on me and I explained the consequences of being denied those medications. She managed to light a fire under the right people, but I still didn't receive the correct dosages or even all of the various medications. One was refused because " it was discontinued". All my labs were negative and this hospitalist explained it away as some virus and I was released. My time and money were wasted. They also assured me at the time of admission that they would call my transplant clinic as I had an appointment with them the next morning. They did not. This can be construed as being noncompliant when someone is on a transplant list. So thank you again, arrogant emergency room doctor that didn't have a clue. It infuriates me that I was so ill I had to be admitted, but only sick enough to be given a single Tylenol.
I don't want to go into the full story. But I had to go in for an emergency c section the doctor's and nurses are amazing sympathetic not something you don't see at most hospitals they where nice helpful and explained everything to me that they where doing and going to do. Thank you integris for taking care of me and my baby. 10 stars to you guys and gals.
They are like most other hospitals in okc horrible. I would recommend someplace else but stay away from ou also.
I am absolutely appalled at the quality of customer service I received from your billing office. I have contacted them 4 times now to supply insurance information, only for them to still have incorrect info and continue to not submit a correct claim to my insurance company. I spoke to 2 people in your office yesterday, and was told that there were no notes from my previous calls. The customer service manager was one of the rudest people I’ve dealt with thus far. I will never visit one of your facilities again. It’s unfortunate the way your staff treats people that are trying to get their bill taken care of and paid. You would think the people in customer service would have better manners and not accuse people of lying when the calls are recorded. I would give 0 stars if I could.
