The owner of this company is a top-notch guy. He values the integrity of his business and the satisfaction of his customers. Call this company first!
He said he would be at my house within 10 minutes when I called. We waited 50 minutes. When he got here and looked at my door after I told him it was only the bottom lock that was locked he told me the lock was too intricate and he asked me if I had renters insurance because he was going to have to wedge the door open and it could cause damage. He said the door knob was too intricate for him to use his tools and then when he was getting ready to start working I asked how much it was going to be and he said it was $19 to come out and $75 to open the door. I was told it was $19 to come out and $29 to open the door. He said its $29 and up. So I told him nevermind that was to much and he said well will you tell them (meaning his boss) that you were mad at me an then if you want I will give you a discount and only charge you $70. Really? Wow. I said no thanks. Then I paid him the $19 for coming out and then he left. I called the number back and I asked why it was going to be an extra $46 from what I was originally told for him to just wedge my door open and push the door open and she said, "that is our rates ma'am". I told her that they won't stay in business long if that is what they charge people. They take advantage of people in a desperate situation. Don't call them even though they are the first number that pops up when you google locksmith in Edmond.
