An honest to goodness 1 star!
My wife, grown daughter and I dined here yesterday evening. I ordered the chicken parmesan. The breasts were hard like they'd been overcooked in a microwave. Also the meat had the texture of tendons from a chicken leg. I could have forgiven this and would have passed on writing a review chalking it up to them having a bad night, because everyone does from time to time. But when we were just about to leave, the manager came by and asked if we enjoyed our meal. At this point I had to tell him how I felt about it since he asked. When I explained to him what I wrote above, he immediately began to blame the problem on their supplier of chicken breasts telling me it had happened to them once before. But in the middle of his explanation, what sounded like a fight broke out in the kitchen (which we were seated close to), so he had to excuse himself to go break up the fight. He returned a few minutes later to pick up his story where he left off blaming the supplier for the bad meat. I don't remember if he even thanked us for coming, but he sure didn't offer to do anything about my bad experience. I really can't make stuff like this up as I don't have that good of an imagination. I told my wife and daughter that it would be a LONG time before I dine at this Olive Garden again. It is apparent to me that good management is severely lacking as our service was also sub parr. Since I paid close to $20 for my overcooked leg tendon meal, I have to give them a solid 1 star, which I rarely do in any of my reviews.
I really love this place and I like the smaller menu items. You can enjoy yourself without over eating. The wine selection is amazing here.
I had a great experience 9/22/2017 about 4:30-5pm. I had ordered a to-go order and showed up a few minutes early for a drink. Manager was very friendly and funny with both guests and staff. Bartender was very busy getting set up for the night but was still friendly and attentative. Mary helped me with my to-go order and was fantastic. Since I was there so early there weren't many guests and the staff didn't have a lot to do but I couldn't helped but notice how happy they seemed to be to be at work. They were joking around talking about favorite shows etc. not the usual fighting over sections, complaining its slow etc you hear at other restaurants at that time.
Example is the over cooked garlic in the photo attached that was very difficult to chew. The quality of garlic was the same within the dishes.
Our food was barely warm. We sat immediately off the kitchen so it should have been hot. The a/c was on full blast so much so that we had to put on sweaters. The server was nice and we left a good tip only because we had five people for her to wait on.
Not the best Olive Garden cooks in town. Wait times are not bad. But the food is just so over cooked and cold that my family will not return to this location.
