I love this place. I tell everyone I know to come and enjoy the many joys there are to experience here. It's great for picture taking, biking and running. The trails here can be used for running. They zip up and down in the woods and make it a very challenging run.
If you like to go hiking or jogging this place is amazing! I'm pretty sure the paths are made primarily for mountain bikes however that's what makes it fun.
A really nice local park just north of Lake Hefner. I would recommend lighting for evening walks and maybe a few more gardens and drought resistant flowers. It seems a little overgrown and there's not much to look at while you run. No bikes or skates allowed which is nice.
Awesome park with walking trails, mountain bike trails, playground, picnic tables / pavilion rent area. They redid this space four or so years ago and the entrance with picnic tables is super adorable. Downsides: I've seen a snake or two slithering through. And, on occasion, people are smoking on the walking trails. Shouldn't that be or isn't that illegal? Should be.
This park has beautiful biking and hiking trails. It also has an asphalt path for walking or jogging.
