Absolutely loved this place! We went the first week of November and the weather was perfect! If you're looking for some nature while living the city life then this is a great place to go. I would give this place 5 stars but there was construction going on. We are excited to go back someday.

I love this park, I walk it almost twice a week for lunch. I still haven’t gotten to take it all in. They recently finished construction on the parking area and are working on the park itself. I love seeing the subtle changes without interfering with the theme of the park. Nature. I’ve seen deer, birds, squirrels, turtles, snakes and everything else you’d expect in a large nature reserve in what’s almost now “in the city”.

Tucked in just off the highway is this really neat park with a playground for kids, walking trails galore, and a really well maintained nature preserve. We saw families going on walks, singles going on walks, too, and kids playing on the playground. There was some construction happening on the south side of the pond and they may be renovating that side of the park. It's obviously well funded and very popular.

The first time me and my sister came here we loved it! It's a beautiful park but we came today and online it says open till 9. My sister got there at 530 and I got there at 5:55 the security guard was locking the gate so I asked him why and told him my sister was inside waiting on me. He was extremely rude and said "look at the sign it says six" (so he was still locking the gate five minutes early) but apparently in October it closes early. This needs to be online so others know this. I asked him "can my sister get out?" He said "when I lock this gate she's stuck in there" my sister drove to the gate and waited till he let her out. My sister told him there's a baby and mom down there at the park and he said that's not his problem. So needless to say we won't be going back.

If you're looking for fun activities for an afternoon, or even just for a nice walk with your beau or belle, this is a great spot in north OKC.

This place has amazing staff and a cute little playground at the entrance. They are currently under construction so you cannot see the Bees area or get to the bathrooms. The nature trails are smooth and easy to hike. This is a great place to take in nature. You'll see anything from turtles to deer to spiders and butterflies.
