Gave me alot of information
The Carpenter Shop installed solid surface counter tops in my home probably ten years ago. They have performed beautifully over the years, always looking nice. Part of the Carpenter Shop guarantee is that he will come out and polish the counter tops for free at any time after installation. Recently because I am selling my home, I had him come out to polish them again. He came out, no questions asked, and the counters look brand new again. I would highly recommend the Carpenter Shop and solid surface counters.
I am an artist and build small furniture in my garage usually not even to sell but for gifts. Many artist go to cabinet shops and other woodworking facilities to pickup scrap for projects. This is a good way to recycle as the scrap wood is 95% of the time simply thrown away. I am a college educated man and consider myself to be polite and respectful of others. I called the owner asking about scrap and he simply cussed me out and hung up on me. I immediately called him back to acquire as to why it was necessary to act in the manner he did. He remarks "What the F@%# do you think you are doing begging for stuff." I am gainfully employed and have no reason to beg as I can afford to buy the wood, it is just a good way to recycle. Needless to say the next 4 shops that I called were more then willing to help and one even helped me load the scrap. This man is rude and is certainly no gentleman. He will not be recommended to anyone that I know.
Talk to these people on the phone and thought the guy in charge was a jerk but most cocky people who talk down to customers do good work and I can tolerate smugness for high quality. Then I asked him his price. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Guy must think he's a Ferrari shop when I asked for BMW service. But my interests were piqued so I swung by to look at their shop. What a joke. The prices he wanted were as high as custom solid wood cabinets built on site and his quality looked like self-assemble project from Lowes. I would encourage anyone looking for cabinets to check this place out for a laugh then run immediately out the door and find a solid cabinet maker.
We are so thankful that we found Al & The Carpenter Shop. They are building a lot of furniture-quality cabinets for our office and I hope I can have them build for my house some day! Al is creative and makes beautiful pieces. He is trustworthy and honest. He has been completely fair and open. My husband & I have both been impressed.
