Otherwise we had a fun tiring hot sweaty typical fair day. We'll do it again. Without the coupons.
Fun place. Nowhere to rest while waiting on loved ones to ride their ride. I am pregnant, my feet and back ached. There is nowhere to sit and rest while watching kids have fun.
Texas native so going to the State Fair here on Oklahoma was really cool! I went with my girlfriend and her siblings and still had a blast. Most food isn't below $7 and even a side of vegetable rice was $7 bucks. Make sure to stop by and see the Butterfly exhibit!
Definitely the biggest and best it's been! Entrainment around every corner and lots of food options. We spent the day there and never ran out of things to do/see. Although, you'll need lots of cash..
We had fun, we got there early and stayed late.
The Oklahoma State fair was fantastic as always. The one day there was to be $2 food items we saw 2 vendors participating. According to the State fair flier there was more than a dozen vendors
However I have 2 complaints. The "coupon" book for the vendors was not user friendly. Mainly because the food vendor names were difficult to distinguish and the vendor IDs were NOT clearly displayed. The 1 coupon I used was because the vendor told me he had a coupon in my book.
Secondly the Giant Ferris Wheel: beautiful view. One turn around the wheel for $5 not a bargain. I asked specifically when I bought our armbands "do these include the Giant Ferris wheel?" She said "yes " And to make sure I was not miscommunicating I said "the Giant one?" Again "yes". Not happy about that.
