I'm staying in the motel part and honestly its not that bad. Yes the place is run down, and yes it could be cleaner, and yes the stuff is outdated, but i haven't seen or found any bugs in my room so far, so that's a huge plus. The office was nice to me and got me a room quickly so my kids and i were off the street. They offer basic cable, the water is hot, and the heater in our room works fine. It's not fancy, but it puts a roof over my kids heads and gives them a place to sleep.
My room is pretty roomy and even though it dsnt sparkle it Is pretty clean. I mean come on ppl you act like we are at the freakn 'Ritz 5☆ Hotel'...
AND Vicky, the lady who runs the place? Well she's A~OK in my book. Yes she has her moments but my daughter and I think A Lot of her. And as long as you keep your end right (business ends) then so will she. I mean come on the last time I checked this is a place of business.
Look... We've been here for a good minute and I can tell you that the Sands Motel is Pretty Alright in my book. Most of this trash talk comes from dirty mouths for 1, I mean come on there's going to be drug users Anywhere you go and no I Wld Not say it's Full of druggies. Like I said, I have been here a minute & I've not seen 1 hooker but I must admit that gave me a little chuckle.
Total scumbags place the manager is a evil bitch and all her drugged out relatives stay there because they are child molesters and sex offenders. Prostitutes and tweekers everywhere. They should bulldoze the dump.
The manager is an evil woman for one. She seems nice one minute, and the next she flips out on you. As long as you pay your rent on time you can deal drugs or be a hooker, but don't be late or forget to pay that $5 remote fee, or you'll get kicked off the property. Of course that depends on what personality she has that day. Also, I'm pretty sure her maintenance man was a pedophile.
This room doesn't deserve a star period the manager Vickie put me and my kids out with our stuff and called the police on me because I didn't have my things out in 5min. She has prostitutes in our if the hotel, her son that lives in the property is child MOLESTER and his wife is a drug abuser. They ripped people off and they call you vulger names when you try to defend yourself. This lady Vicki the manager let's the people she wants sell drugs not safe for children. I ADVICE NO ONE TO STAY HERE
All in all the Sands Motel really is a pretty alright place to stay and yes I wld come stay again.
