This is a great place to do business! They have really helped me get my new business started. Joyce is great to work with---designed my logo, business cards and fliers.
Now the kicker. Frustrated at this point and remembering that I thought the shipping cost was higher than it should have been, I go to the USPS website to calculate what the postage would be for the size and weight of the box I sent. $48 dollars. $48 dollars is what USPS would’ve charged me to get it there on time. PostNet charged me $78 dollars to hold my shipment over the weekend and miss my deadline. So I got charged an extra 62% to get screwed. Do not use PostNet to ship anything unless you’re into wasting money and missing deadlines. I can only imagine that their business cards and signage are way overpriced as well, and can probably be sourced cheaper, better quality, and a quicker turnaround with a little research.
I had a package that I wanted to ship, fairly large, but not too heavy, and travelling across the country. I gave her the needed information and she told me it would be $43 for UPS ground. I expressed surprise at that total, as I'd done an estimate of shipping through the post office website the night before and had a quote of less than $20. She said, "Well, we do charge a little more, but with what I'm seeing here, I don't see how that's possible." I was on my lunch break, and thought maybe my estimates of weight and size were off, so I paid the shipping and left (without so much as a thank you from the clerk.) I later redid my estimates on the USPS and UPS sites, using the exact weights and measures from my receipt. The USPS quote for NEXT DAY delivery was $22.95, and UPS Ground was 22.96. By my math, that's an almost 90% markup on the actual shipping cost. I would say that's not really "charging a little more." The next time I need to ship, I'll brave the longer lines at the Post Office for half price savings.
I had a package that needed to be shipped out on short notice and needed to arrive at it’s destination in a timely manner, so I decided to use PostNet because it was close and convenient. It was 4:30pm on a Friday when I dropped the package off and paid what seemed like a higher price than it should have been to have it shipped. Whatever, I know they probably charge a little more for the convenience and I needed it shipped. Sunday I check the tracking number to see it’s progress and IT NEVER GOT SHIPPED!!! They just created and printed the label! They didn’t close until 6pm on Friday, so why didn’t it get shipped? I call to get answers and find out that they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. I needed this package to be at its destination by Tuesday which would should have been no problem. I call Monday and sure enough the package just sat there the entire weekend.
OVERPRICED SHIPPING!!!
Every time I come in, I'm greeted by name. The workers are extremely professional. I will never ship from another store. Thanks guys!
Great work, fast turn around, amazing staff!
I came here to get a package shipped, and was not overwhelmed by a welcome feeling from the lady helping me. She wasn't rude, just wasn't friendly and didn't seem the least bit happy that I'd selected her company to do business with.
