I wonder if ALL car dealerships pressure their sales force to be this aggressive and then this dismissive when your schedule does not accomodate theirs.
Received this email from Elizabeth Satter from Jim Norton Toyota after telling her I, as a former Army medic, could not visit their showroom in person due to a prior Veteran's Day obligation.
I enjoyed the quickness of excellent service. I felt like I was "in good hands". Its nice to be able to answer the question "how can we help you" with "I need you to complete whatever my service schedule says I need" with confidence.
"Here is the deal Michael, 2 out of those 4 stock numbers that you sent me have sold. I am going to send you the remaining window stickers however at this point there is nothing that I can do further than this. I have been working my butt off for you to make sure that you have gotten or continue to get all the information that you have requested and at this point your next step is to come into the dealership. I have done all I can do through email. You never answer your phone to talk to anyone on the phone and I understand that today is veterans day so you are busy. I respect that. However I don't feel like the respect is being reciprocated and at this point I am turning you over to Israel. Any and all questions can be directed to him. Have a great day. "
I will not ever come here again. I came in June and asked them to change my oil and look over my car to ensure it is safe enough to drive for my move out of state. I was told I needed to clean the rear brakes and change the oil/top off liquids. Other than that, nothing else was needed - except watch out for the shocks, as they'll need replacing soon. I did all of that and paid for it. A week later, I go to clean my windshield, but there is no wiper fluid! I got nervous that perhaps they didn't change the oil either, so I came back to have it re-checked. A different technician looked at it and told me this LONG LIST OF THINGS that needed fixed. INCLUDING getting my rear brakes cleaned! I got upset saying this list is all the things that I did a month ago and paid for and was told were completed! Additionally, why wasn't I informed about these issues back in June? The service guy said that his technician today was a "master tech" and could notice things other techs might not see. I honestly don't believe that my car was looked at or worked on last time. I miss my Florida Toyota dealership, they were trustworthy. I don't trust these workers. I'd recommend finding a different dealership in OKC.
Super experience with accolades to the staff especially Mr. Lincoln Weber who took the time to make sure I got the color, make and price that I wanted without any hassle. Far from the polished approach of a season salesman, Mr. Weber was knee Jerk honest and professional which made the day go pleasantly, quickly and enjoyable. I left knowing and feeling that I got the best deal I could from a dedicated employee. I advise anyone to drop in and pick up excellent financing, a good solid product. You can shop anywhere, but give them a try, they will probably make your day.
Purchased my Prius new from Jim Norton Tulsa. I work in OKC and had to use the OKC Jim Norton Toyota. Bad experience both times. First time had a low tire, they were to busy to look at my vehicle. Tire went flat and was ruined by the time, I got to Discount Tire down the street. Second visit nails in tire, dealership did not have a replacement tire. Had to drive back to OKC Jim Norton next day, to get a tire replaced. Sit for an hour and half, before vehicle moved from drop off spot. One other visit they lost my wheel key and I had to come back several times to get the key replaced. Ordered incorrect key once and was mistakenly told key had arrived once.
In fairness to Elizabeth, she has provided some of the requested information I have requested from her in the past.
