This is possibly THE WORST Co i have ever DONE BUSINESS with! Then the ATTITUDE of their customer service department is Dept. is almost as if this is our way of doing things to bad! That was the ATTITUDE i was presented! I WOULD RATHER WALK than RENT FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN! i would NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THEM EVER AGAIN! VERY SAD! I wish there were 0 stars here instead of having to give them 1 star!
This company needs to be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. We were charged to rent or car even know I had renters insurance and it was supposed to go through State Farm. The people there are horrible, and the Manager I had to deal with in Fort Worth should be fired.
Hertz is the absolute WORST! They left me stranded in an unknown town all by MYSELF and DID NOT help me whatsoever!!! They rented me a car that was faulty and was not properly serviced and maintained and gave me mechanical issues about 3 hours into my trip. I was literally given the run around from their Emergency Roadside assistance and their customer service from the second the car left me on the side of the road until the NEXT day where I had no choice but to FIND MY OWN WAY HOME without ZERO assistance from Hertz. This company DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY. All they care about is money. I was told so many different things and never given a straight forward answer or solution to any of my questions or problems. I never received an exchange of vehicles, i remained alone and stranded in an unsafe town, and ONLY got home by Gods miracle of actually running into someone i knew who gave me a ride back home. If it wasnt for this person who gave me a ride, WHO KNOWS how or when i wouldve gotten home. I have never had such a horrible experience with any type of company before.... Do not trust Hertz. Please, choose Budget, enterprise, or Avis when you need to rent a car. Hertz is the worst. Hertz will charge you up the ass for your rental, then give you an unreliable and unserviced vehcile, then leave you stranded, then make it seem like it was your fault for all of it, then NEVER actually help you with an exchange of vehicle or a way to NOT be stranded. I will NEVER EVER trust this company again. and you should not either.
I have used Hertz for years and the last few times renting has been horrible. Charged twice, not accepting my debit card, and now customer service forced me to cancel my reservation. I was informed by a supervisor that they will charge 50$ for cancelling. How is this right? Tried to reserve online again after cancellation and price was inflated 150$ more. I am a starving student at times. There is no way I can pay 400$ for 4 days. I was told that Hertz will file a waiver, so I won't get charged that 50$. I never received a confirmation email though. Very bad business.
The suv we rented was covered in scratches and glue and was covered in pink paint. Not to mention the filfthy windows and dirty carpets. Never again will I rent from Hertz rental.
