My husband, Fred, & I would highly recommend United Access to anyone! We have been stopped several times as we are out & about with our Braunability Chrysler minivan, and actually enjoy telling people about it and United Access. This is our first mobility van and we so appreciated Pat, and others who were so kind and patient with us. There is a learning curve when you buy your first accessible van, and another dealer had been short & curt with our questions. The service technician has also been very helpful and kind with routine service and some added options.
I came from out of town to spend a long weekend with a friend who has a 400+lb electric wheelchair. They rented me a 2016 van with a great set of ramps and tie downs and it allowed us to have a great weekend. It's about a 15 minute Uber ride to their location from the airport. Do remember to have your proof of insurance when you rent and they are closed Sundays. Rates were reasonable and frankly not much more than renting a suv from hertz. I'd recommend these guys without hesitation and I'll rent again from them again when I return.

Couple months after getting the unit, we were in Amarillo at Dr appointment. The chair would rotate but would not extend out. We were able to get Linda out of the seat finally and I took the car to Open Road Mobility while she was in the Wound Care for treatment. Open road was able to find that the cover over the control panel under seat had come off and the control panel was loose and not making contact. The fasteners were found in the box and replaced and seat was reprogrammed for a fee. Unit has worked well since.
Only went 1x with my mom. The lady was very nice, easy to talk to.
