The room is okay the beds are alright the view from our room was about the best thing of the stay. Unfortunately you get what you pay for I book this room through Groupon. No refrigerator in the room no microwave in the room breakfast buffet is available but costs an additional $10 per person. If you are looking for an inexpensive comfortable bed only wouldn't be a bad option cleanliness of the room was great. Customer service varied from employee to employee I saw and spoke with customer service buried from employee to employee I saw and spoke with several employees that were both polite and accommodating and also had dealings with employees who you could tell hated their day and their job.

So my brother and I arrived at 230 after a 9 hour drive from Galveston. The girl and the front desk told us check in was at 3 so we quietly waited. Then another customer with a child tried to check in after us and they were given a room. Finally at three I asked if we could check in again and the clerk gave me some excuse about how full they were last night and how they are having to clean rollaway beds, which didn't matter to me because I didn't need one. It was obvious the staff here likes to flex there muscles and be as little help as possible. Great price for a reason. We couldn't check in till nearly 4. Stay clear unless your financially strapped. U get what u pay for.
Okay, no real complaints. Interior is a bit tired and shabby but otherwise clean in my experience. Location is convenient although you'll be driving for food unless you want to eat at Hooters which is next door. Staff we delt with were polite and helpful. Avoid rooms next to elevators - there is precious little insulation between elevator shaft and room and those two tiny elevators work all day long.
Great place to hold a small event. I'm a amateur pro fighting game player and that's what the event was for. It got pretty hot at the event but other than that it was a very nice place to hold an event like this on a hot summer day. It had about 100 people there. Internet access was fine and they let the organizer do what they liked with the room.
