Easy to find, right off Lincoln. Good service, clean rooms. I was pleasantly surprised.
Highly recommended if your going to the Zoo or concerts.
I enjoyed the waffles and coffee they supply with breakfast.
Staff was cute a very helpful.
The place has lots of potential for improvement but still cool for an older Hotel.
For the price, this was a great place to stay. The building is dated, but the rooms are large and they each have a balcony/patio. The staff were very friendly and they tried to go above and beyond.
Other than those minor issues, the rooms were just ok. They were spacious, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, cable/WiFi
Also, if i have an issue with the plumbing and there is no plunger in the room & I tell you over the phone I need a plunger, and you know good and well there's one in the office, but you don't bring it to the room because "that's theirs"... don't get mad when I say that's poor management. Anyone could have been calling about a plumbing issue & had there been any water damage, you'd want to charge me for damage. Nah.
Could use a complete makeover inside but it is decent for the price.
My only complaint would be about the other guests: there seemed to be several people with alcohol/drug problems hanging around/living there. I never felt in any danger, but this made the place seem seedy.
The younger gentlemen at the front desk acts like he's annoyed with guest who check in late at night. I'm giving you my money, why are you giving me attitude? I've had my husband & kids with me too, and I was so annoyed with his attitude the previous night, we didn't even come down for the free breakfast in the morning.
Overall my stay was very good. My room was clean and smelled nice.
I was just visiting some guests, but the location doesn't seem to be the best place. The outside could use some major upgrades. I was afraid to leave my car parked outside. The inside looks nice at first glance with painted walls and nice comforters but the carpet desperately needs to be replaced and they smoke in the hallways, which you can't hardly tell in the rooms, but not appealing to walk through. I personally would not sleep at this hotel.
