Springhill is a great hotel all employees are always very helpful and smiling..We stayed here for our anniversary Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Pool was well taken care of, grounds where trimmed and clean.. This is a Top Notch place to stay and absolutely will stay again...
We enjoyed our stay here! It is a very nice motel, and the price was just right. The only downfall was the mandatory valet parking. It wouldn’t have been an issue with just our vehicle, but we were visiting from Arizona and had intended a lot of family to visit in which they would of all had to pay $20 to park which is obscured! We all had to park at Bass Pro to not pay that $20 per car(which was about 7 cars as we have a very large family). We all have small children so we didn’t appreciate the walk in the cold. They also don’t have a hot tub, and the pool is very small but again coming from Arizona it wasn’t to big of a deal because we swim all year. The woman at the front desk name Tamika was absolutely outstanding. She is by far the nicest front desk lady we’ve ever encountered. We would recommend this hotel if you don’t mind walking, or just paying for one vehicle to park. Overall experience was nice. The rooms are large and very modern, although the TV was in a very awkward place.
Hotel itself is OK. The parking is totally unacceptable. It is valet only and the hotel does not own the parking lot or control the company that runs the valet service. The valet service is terrible. Both mornings of my stay, I called down to the desk (as is the practice) to give the valet my number so that my car could be pulled around. Some 10-15 minutes later when I did go downstairs, my car was still not ready and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes. Keep in mind that the parking lot is a 45 second walk from the valet stand, directly next to the hotel. I asked the valet for my keys so I could go get my own vehicle and he refused. Unfortunately, this was my second stay at the hotel in as many months, and the valet situation was a nightmare both times. I actually payed for parking down the street later in the day just to avoid having to deal with the hotel valets. Will never stay here again unless the parking issue is resolved.
New location, friendly and accommodating staff members. Valet parking only, sort of a negative for a person on a budget, but at least it is multiple entries per 24 hours, so not bD for $25.00. there is lots of construction going on, but the noise level is okay. Not much of a view of downtown. Free buffet breakfast, but it is not going to win much awards other than "slightly above average". Rooms are clean, modern minimalistic touch, shower is perfect, no tub.
Pretty good location. I don't really like the way the 2 queen suites are arranged- the door to the bathroom is directly in front of the 2 beds. The whole layout is kind of long and narrow. But, everything seems nice and new. The staff was nice. The breakfast was on par with most of the hotels at this level (maybe slightly better- more selection). Note that the parking is $25/day valet. The only alternative is to walk from a parking structure about 3 blocks away. On the upside, they're very quick bringing the car for you.
